 A 56 years old lady came to us with a complaint of severe pain in the left knee joint with swelling. She was having agonizing pain at left knee and unable to do her day to day activities, she was very disturbed and left all her hopes of life due to incapacitating pain. She was literally weeping on consultation. Her x-rays show grade 4 osteoarthritis, badly damaged left knee, typical bone on bone changes, there was literally no space between femur (upper) and tibia (lower) bone especially on medial (inner) side of the

left knee joint .see red marked area on 1^st x-ray. Though she was having pain on right knee also but she was bothered for left knee only and wants relief on left knee at present.  She was consoled and 1 injection of stem cells rich bone marrow aspirate concentrate (supervised and prepared under sharp watch and needed manipulations by a skilled pathologist, Dr seema sadana MD) was given to her left knee along with comprehensive prolotherapy followed by 3 sessions of comprehensive prolotherapy at around 15 days intervals. After 2 and half month, patient is happy with around 35% reduction in pain (as she described otherwise our observation is more than 50% relief) , She is doing all her day to day activities , household works easily, Her latest x-ray shows  remarkable recovery with  sufficient cartilage regeneration  with maintained knee joint space . एक  56 वर्षीय महिला बाएं घुटने के जोड़ पर गंभीर दर्द की शिकायत के साथ और  सूजन के साथ हमारे पास आई. वह बाएं घुटने पर  दर्द से परेशान  थी और दिन-प्रतिदिन की गतिविधियों में असमर्थ थी.असहनीय  दर्द से पीड़ित होने के कारण ज़िंदगी से सारी  उम्मीदों को छोड़ दिया। असंख्य डाक्टरों को दिखा चुकी थी कही कोई आराम नहीं मिला था , बल्कि दर्द बढ़ता ही चला जा रहा था। अपनी बीमारी के बारे में बताते बताते हमारे सामने रोने लगी।  एक्स रे में जोड़ की बहुत बुरी स्थिति थी ऊपर की हड्डी फीमर व जोड़ के नीचे की हड्डी के बीच की उपास्थि (चिकनाई ) ख़तम सी ही थी , जोड़ का बीच की जगह गायब थी.   पहले एक्स रे में लाल स्याही से अंकित जगह देखे , अधिकतर जगह घुटने बदलवाने की सलाह मिली थी। हालाँकि मरीज को गठिया दोनों ही तरफ था मगर वो सिर्फ बाए घुटने को लेकर ज्यादा  चिंतित थी।   हमने पहले सत्र में बाए घुटने में स्टेम सेल इंजेक्शन (बोन मेरो के रस से तैयार )  दिया तथा व्यापक प्रोलोथेरपी के इंजेक्शन दिए उसके बाद लगभग 15 दिनों के अंतराल के तीन सत्रों में व्यापक प्रोलोथेरपी के इंजेक्शंस दिए गए।  ढाई महीने बाद मरीज को 40 % दर्द में आराम है , घर की सारी गतिविधिया मरीज सुचारु रूप से कर रही है.

नवीनतम  एक्स रे के अनुसार मरीज के घुटने में चिकनाई काफी हद तक बन चुकी है फीमर व टीबीआ  के बीच जो खाली स्थान पहले से गायब था वो अब काफी हद तक दीख रहा है।  दूसरे एक्स रे में अंकित लाल घेरे में स्थान  देखे।  हालाँकि इतनी जल्दी एक्स रे में इतना अच्छा परिवर्तन होने का दावा हम कभी नहीं करते मगर हमारी कुशल पैथोलोजिस्ट  की देख रेख में जो समयानुसार  स्टेम सेल्स सार  के बनाने जो परिवर्तन होते रहते है उससे हमें अब ऊपर वाले की मेहर से दिन प्रतिदिन अच्छे परिणाम मिलने है , आशा करते है ये मरीज 6 महीने में  पूरी तरह से ठीक हो जाएगी।
